The GBC – Bruce Kiser Memorial Scholarship

Purpose:
Provide general scholarship opportunities to students enrolled at Gwinnett Technical College in computer science program.

Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the The GBC – Bruce Kiser Memorial Scholarship, a student must:

• 2.0 GPA minimum
• Enrolled in Computer Science Program of Study at Gwinnett Technical College
• Submit a General Scholarship Application and include an essay of at least 300 words. Please also share your academic goals and career plans and include other relevant information, such as financial or personal circumstances which you feel are important for the Selection Committee to consider in its evaluation.

All required documents must be submitted along with the application.

Scholarship funds shall be used for tuition, books, and program supplies solely for the benefit of the scholarship recipient. Before funds are disbursed, the Foundation office must receive a note of thanks from the recipient to the donor.

Selection:
The Gwinnett Tech Foundation committee will select and notify the scholarship recipients.

Termination:
If the recipient fails to enroll, withdraws from college, or does not maintain eligibility requirements, the Gwinnett Tech Foundation will select another student if time permits; otherwise, funds will be held in the donor’s account and carried over to the next semester.
