The Hourglass Foundation - More Than One Path Scholarship
Purpose:
The Hourglass Foundation, in connection with their mission of “Empowering young adults to achieve their dreams in the face of financial adversity,” seeks to support trade school students through scholarships.
Eligibility Requirements:
In order to be eligible for The Hourglass Foundation – More Than One Path Scholarship, a student must:
- Be enrolled in the Automotive Technology program at Gwinnett Technical College
- Submit an essay of 300 words (typed and double-spaced) that explains how the scholarship will benefit you, shares your academic goals and career plans and Includes other relevant information (such as unusual financial or personal circumstances) which you feel are important for the Review Committee to consider in its evaluation. (Essay to be sumitted on students general application)
Applications cannot be processed unless all required documentation is attached to the application at time of submittal.
Selection:
The Gwinnett Tech Foundation Review Committee will select and notify the scholarship recipients.
Termination:
If the recipient fails to enroll, withdraws from college, or does not maintain eligibility requirements, the Gwinnett Tech Foundation will select another student if time permits; otherwise, funds will be held in the Donor’s account to be carried over to the next semester.
