Atlanta Gas Light Scholarship - HVAC or Natural Gas Program

Purpose:
Provides five scholarships annually to students who meet the below eligibility requirements

Eligibility Requirements:
In order to be eligible for the Atlanta Gas Light Scholarship, a student must:

• Be in a HVAC or Natural Gas program
• Have a GPA of at least 2.0 and be in good academic standing
• Submit a 300-word essay outlining how the scholarship will enable them to complete their program, and any other financial or personal circumstances they feel are important for the Review Committee to consider in its evaluation. Essays must be submitted on the applicant’s general scholarship application.

Applications cannot be processed unless all required documentation is attached to the application at the time of submittal.

Selection:
The Gwinnett Tech Foundation will select and notify the scholarship recipients based on application scores submitted by a Review Committee

Termination:
If the recipient fails to enroll, withdraws from college, or does not maintain eligibility requirements, the Gwinnett Tech Foundation will select another student if time permits; otherwise, funds will be held in the Donor’s account and carried over to the next semester.
