Gwinnett County Veterinary Medical Association Scholarship

Is paying for college turning into a wild animal? Do you need some money to help tame it?

The Gwinnett County Veterinary Medical Association Scholarship was established to help second year Veterinary Technology program students at GTC with college expenses including tuition, books and program supplies.

GTC students may apply for this scholarship if you:
• Are a U.S. citizen or legal resident,
• Are in the second year of the Veterinary Technology Program,
• Have earned 20 credit hours, and
• Have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

To apply, submit an essay of approximately 300 words (typed and double-spaced) that explains how the scholarship will benefit you in your educational pursuits.

Your application must also include a written recommendation from a faculty member, advisor or employer.

  3. Please provide a name and email address for a letter of recommendation from a faculty member, advisor or employer. It is the student's responsibility to monitor their scholarship application to ensure the recommendation is received by the application deadline.
