Anthony Rojo Scholarship

Is your dream career in Computer Information Systems within reach, but you’ve encountered some financial obstacle keeping you from achieving your goals?

Each semester, one scholarship of $500 will be awarded to assist students in an associate’s degree program within the division of Computer Information Systems.

The scholarship was established in 2014 in memory of Anthony Rojo, a former Dean of the Computer Information Systems program.

GTC students may apply for this scholarship to assist with tuition, books or program supplies if you:
• Are currently enrolled in a Computer Information Systems Degree program
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA

To apply, submit an essay of approximately 300-words (typed and double-spaced) that:
• Explains how your degree of study will benefit you in your educational goals and why you chose CIS as a career
• Shares your future educational plans and career plans
• Includes other information (like unusual financial or personal strife) you feel the Selection Committee should know about
If you have any questions, please contact Sheila Brookshaw in the Foundation Office at sbrookshaw@gwinnetttech.edu or (678) 226-6263.
